The 20,000 Word Post (Or The Great Googa Mooga)
They say a picture is worth a thousand words–here’s a novel’s worth on my experience this weekend at the highly anticipated Great Googa Mooga Festival in Brooklyn. I could bore you with details, but I think everyone can imagine what happens when you combine the best of NYC’s food scene with exceptional beer and wine, outdoors, on a sunny weekend. (In case you can’t, NYC food+beer/wine+great weather= 1 heck of a party. Drink up.)

My partner in crime–don’t worry, she has excellent taste.

Food-gasm Round I: Wings & Cucumber Salad from Bloomberg Brothers

Organizers seemed to follow the Google model: Don’t be Evil. (They rocked.)

Dirty Duck Dog–the best $7 hot dog you could imagine.

Yup, they even had a sparkly, 20-foot, fake cake.

A Greek goddess of a wine.

Rosado from Ribera del Duero–Delicioso!

Delightfully refreshing South African juice.

LOVE.

Enough Said.
