The New York Wine Expo 2013: Wines on the Edge
I can’t believe it’s almost April and it’s been a month since my visit to one of NYC’s biggest, baddest, swirl and sip fests: The New York Wine Expo. I went last year as a volunteer, and this year got pumped for the event doing a Q&A with formaggio expert Lou DiPaolo, who hosted a wine and cheese pairing seminar.
The real excitement? All the wines I tasted from growing, oft-forgotten regions like Croatia, Turkey, and Greece. Keep your eyes (and expectations) open, and get ready for some mineral- and pine-infused beauties! (And also some great labels like these!)
